Latest drivers and utilities installed a zillion times I have done it in the past and hope to do it in the future. Will someone please put me out of my misery and tell me it can't be done. I have an iMac and have tried every whichway to operate the Scanner from the Preferences Printers & Scanners Pane. This has been a perennial problem with Canon/Apple.
